Yo Egg – The Poached One offers a perfect plant-based alternative to traditional poached eggs. Made from soy and chickpea protein, it delivers a tender white and a creamy “yolk” for authentic poached egg experiences. Ideal for breakfast, brunch dishes, avocado toast, salads, or noodle bowls, it’s a versatile, high-protein vegan option that cooks quickly and tastes just like the real thing.

Ingredients:

  • Water

  • Sunflower Oil

  • Soy Protein

  • Chickpea Protein

  • 2% or less of:

    • Potato Starch

    • Yeast

    • Seaweed Extract

    • Beta Carotene

    • Paprika Extract

    • Pectin

    • Calcium Lactate

    • Salt

    • Potassium Salt

    • Lecithin

    • Guar Gum

    • Carob Gum

    • Xanthan Gum

    • Maltodextrin

    • Methylcellulose

  • Garnish: Black Salt

Cooking Suggestions:

Poached Method (Recommended):

  1. Bring a pot of water to a gentle simmer.

  2. Crack the Yo Egg into a small dish.

  3. Gently slide the egg into the simmering water.

  4. Cook for 3–4 minutes until the white sets and the yolk is warm and soft.

  5. Remove carefully with a slotted spoon and serve immediately.

Microwave Option:

  1. Place egg in a microwave-safe dish with a splash of water.

  2. Cover lightly and microwave on high for 30–45 seconds until heated through.

  3. Remove carefully and serve on toast, salads, or bowls.

Sandwich or Bowl Topper:

  1. Cook using poached or microwave methods.
