Crunchy Water Chestnut Cubes Give Gross Texture Saturday, March 1, 2025 Reviewer: Bella from NYC   I have had vegan chicken wings on sugarcane from a couple of local restaurants now and loved them, so I was super excited to find a place that sells these. Unfortunately, they had a SUPER weird texture because the meat is infused with little cubes of water chestnut that was incredibly off putting. Otherwise they tasted the exact same but I don’t think I can eat the others that I bought because the crunchy cubes in the meat are so gross:( It feels like biting into gristle? Different product? These are the best! Thursday, February 11, 2021 Reviewer: Maureen Koplow from Deptford, NJ United States   These are delicious on their own, but my favorite way to prepare them is to coat them with barbecue sauce and heat them in the oven.
