This from a carnivore Thursday, November 21, 2024 Reviewer: Ted from Harlem   Got this to make a vegetarian version of a duck dish I make every Thanksgiving. It is almost indistinguishable from shredded real smoked duck. Spread on a piece of puff pastry: cashew butter with molasses, hot pepper jelly, caramelized red onions and "duck." Roll and cut some vents in the pastry. Bake till golden. Serve. Stand back. Was this review helpful to you?

My favorite product ever from this website Tuesday, October 1, 2024 Reviewer: Anonymous Person   This is absolutely the best thing I like to order from here and I reorder it all the time. It is meaty, chewy, and flavorful. What's amazing is that the "duck" pulls apart just like real poultry, and it's very firm and chewy, not mushy like some vegan meats can be! The best part is that it can be put in soup for some amazing texture!! The meat holds up so well and does not become soft or dry AT ALL. Shred it up with a fork and your soup is so much better. My favorite meal is to heat up a bowl of miso soup with some shredded pieces of this. SO GOOD. Like many products on this site, it is flavored with an asian style of spice blend. So the taste is slightly sweet, smoky, and like five spice. There really is no other vegan poultry on the market (in my opinion) that even compares to this in terms of quality.
