COOKING SUGGESTIONS
Steam

Fill the bottom of your steamer pot with water, ensuring that the water level is below the steamer basket. Line the steamer basket with parchment paper or cabbage leaves to prevent the shumai from sticking. Make small holes in the parchment paper to allow steam to circulate. Place the steamer pot on the stove and bring the water to a boil over high heat. Place the vegan shumai in the lined steamer basket, ensuring they are spaced apart so they don’t stick together. Avoid overcrowding. Place the steamer basket over the boiling water, cover with a lid, and reduce the heat to medium. Steam the shumai for about 7-10 minutes. The shumai are ready when the wrapper changes color. Serve the shumai immediately with a dipping sauce of your choice.

BBQ Pork Flavored Rice in Rice Noodle Cups
This is more than a bite's worth of food - and each bite is filled with big grains of rice - no mushy rice here - and studded with Buddha Bodai pork bits. It toasts well. We have it as dim sum and with Lily's Vegan Pantry vegan food as a meal.

good alternative
Does not taste like shrimp nor does it attempt to, but it is good and tasty nonetheless. Very good wrapper
